Ms. Schlee
Hi! My name is Ms. Schlee (SHH-LAY) and I am extremely excited to be returning to the high school team for the 2018-2019 school year. This will be my sixth year teaching at New West and I'm so grateful to be part of such a wonderful school community. I grew up in northern California and have wanted to be a teacher ever since I was a kid. I completed my undergraduate degree in Mathematics for Teaching at UCLA (Go Bruins!) and then spent two years up at UC Berkeley earning my Masters in Education. I enjoy spending time with my friends and family. Outside of the classroom, I love to cook, read, run and be creative. I enjoy working with young people and am passionate about education. I hope students leave my classroom feeling cared for and confident in themselves. This school year I will be teaching Honors and College Prep Trig/Precalcus. I am also excited to be serving as our 11th grade team leader and student government advisor. I look forward to seeing and teaching some familiar faces this year! |
